nice article by james lawton (here). we may bitch about the wengker but deep down, i think we like the way he does things, it makes us feel warm, a bit special and different from the usual crass and brutal "winners" everywhere else... anyone remember the final charge in "the last samurai"?... or chow yuen fatt in "a better tomorrow"?... a little fatalistic but way cooool.
