decanted 30 mins; dark ruby; cherry, spice, pepper, herbal; ripe cherry, spice (long pepper, cinnamon ... someone said cardamom, uurgh), bit of grilld meat, mineral (very); heaps of firm fine tannins; balancing acidity; long; nice but young; medium bodied; linear; not as complex as the 06; BANG!

ruby; floral, plum/cherry, tar/menthol (whiff), bit sappy, mushroom?, hint of cinnamon and cedar; ripe cherry, plum, hint of cinnamon; lots of tannins, not particularly fine; juicy acidic; light/medium bodied; longish; nice now but will obviously evolve further; BANG!

pale yellow; lemon, apple, gooseberry/passionfruit; aforesaid fruit, not particularly intense but then again mercifully not overipe/blown, mineral; acid was quite refreshing; short; decent for the price, i suppose POP!(+)

[young vines, high altitude NW facing slopes, handpicked, gentle crush, wild yeast, blah, blah, blah ...]
dark ruby; berries, plum, whiff of spice, pepper?, hint of chocolate and some wood; ripe plum, blackberries, spice, clean no funk, mineral; nice fine tannins and juicy acid; great fuit but not a bomb; like the balance now; refreshing; enough of everything to develop further but why wait; long; medium bodied; 15.5% but carries it very well; BANG! enjoyed this one a lot ... be afraid oz, be very afraid ...
